Collective farming
Hello everyone,
I am planning to buy agricultural land and encourage farming. I am wondering if anyone is interested in buying and managing land together. We can do separate registration so that there is no dispute of ownership in future. I am planning to run it as not for profit business(at least my part of the land). Hi Anand,
Nice idea, I think your father has already visited my farm few days before. Are you planning to stay in the farm, if not managing would be difficult. At least one of the partner should be staying otherwise it is not manageable.

Thanks for the response. I see what you are saying. I am not planning to stay in farm at this time. But want to try out by appointing someone to work in the farm and give him % of returns to keep them motivated and happy.

What are you trying to grow by the way, if you are planning for Natural Farming the villagers hardly believe on this and they will not do even in the profit sharing basis. I wish you could find one on this basis but I suspect. They hardly care about return in the long run, they think on day by day and quick return.

I appreciate your input, it definitely helps to make things better. i am planning to start with vegetables and venture into other things after seeing the progress. I would like natural farming but I am flexible initially to get this going and make changes as it progresses. I understand that it may be difficult to convince just on profit sharing, but I am thinking of couple of options to work with. Let's see how it goes. Thanks Anand, good luck to you. My agent has stopped dealing farming land now as he has become so rich. He only deals with plotting for now so he is not interested now.

I am also interested. However I am not sure about whether I will be doing natural farming like Narayan. In factr not even sure what to do, but thinking of doing something on the agriculture side - maybe vegetables.
